im trying to find daimond.com for womans car insurance?

A) Try spelling diamond correctly.

Why do car insurance systematically break the sex discrimination act?

Q) IF this was a case of pay or working conditions or job description, the womans lib and campaigners for EQUAL rights would be hopping mad, they would be marching down the street but NO, when it comes to being FAIR, they are not in the case of car insurance. Anyone ever wondered why women pay less for car insurance yet if your in an accident and your a man, your no claims is effected whilst the womans NCB isnt? I believe that theirs a big case of Sex Discrimination with these insurance brokers and no one has ever challenged them before so they still continue.... Your thoughts? I am talking from experience too, the number of accidents I have been in and it not been my fault and the other driver is a woman, FFS, IM the one who has lost out and yes IM annoyed that I AM DISCRIMINATED AGAINST!!! I dont care what Insurance compnays pull out of the hat with statistics because they can make number say what they want, People who drive Red cars are more likely to have an accident than a Blue car.... Is that fair? So why should sex determine cover in insurance? Think about it.... As for AGE related, I dont see why that should be relavent, what I do find relaventt is the "TIME" that has been spent driving, so if your Licence was gained at 17 Years old, and your 34, you have 17 years worth of experience on the road, where as a 17Year old who has just passed their test has had Zero years experience on the road. I See that as more relavent, not age related because if you are a Cyclist then a Motorbike user and then progress to car, you gain allot of experience and can have a couple of years driving experience in hand before using a car.

A) It is a proven fact that men, young men especially, are less cautious drivers than women. They are an insurance liability.

If I have no car insurance & am involved in an accident that is not my fault who pays for the damages?

Q) 2 days ago a crazy elderly lady with full coverage insurance thru The Good Sam Insurance Company tried to pass me over a double yellow line and lost control of her vehicle and slammed into the drivers side front tire and pushed me off the road into barbwire . My 1985 318i BMW plowed through 34 feet of barbwire and 7 heavy metal T-posts. I wasnt hurt at all just shook up and same with her but my car is history!!The CHP came and did a report and gave me the womans name and insurance company and policy #. I didnt have any insurance so my question is , will her insurance company pay for my damages since it was her fault? and should I get an attorney ?

Car Accident: Two months ago I was hit from the side by a hit and run?

Q) Two months ago I was driving westbound on a street that had a four way stop. There was an SUV in front of me. When I approached the intersection a large white SUV blew the stop sign and hit my car and damaged my front bumper and headlamps. The SUV in front of me was also hit by this hit and run vehicle. The SUV in front of me swerved to get away from this vehicle that hit her and crashed into an apartment building and damaged the front of someones car in the garage and someones front porch. We called the police and they came an hour later. Since my bumper was damaged and it was a hit and run my insurance wouldn't pay for it unless I had the drivers license of the hit and run. I payed for the damage out of my pocket. The womans insurance contacted me and said that the woman told them that there was no hit and run vehicle and lied and said that I hit her vehicle and pushed her into the apartment building. What should I do? The woman also told the police this and my insurance company. I'm concerned about getting a point on my license and even having my insurance company drop me. When I took my car to the body shop they took pictures of the damage and it looked as if someone sidewiped me. This woman lied to me and said that she told the police that a hit and run vehicle hit her. Even though I didn't hit her what would happen if I loose and everyone believes her? I spoke to my insurance company and they want me to send them a daigram of what happened. The insurance company ordered a copy of the police report. My insurance company told me that it takes 3 months to get a police report from the LAPD(Los Angeles Police Department). My insurance company also told me that they will fight for me. The woman in the SUV already got her car fixed. Every night for the past 8 weeks I have had trouble sleeping and have nervous chest pains because I'm worried about people believing this womans side of the story. The womans insurance already called me and asked me what happened. I called the police department and it takes 3 months to get a report. When the police came and wrote the report they did not give me a ticket.

A) so your insurance company told you that they would not pay unless you had the driver's license of a HIT and RUN driver? if i were you i would be concerned about people believing that woman too! what are you trying to accomplish here?

legal questions about a car accident??

Q) my sister was in a car accident during a blizzard with a 90 year old lady. my sisters car swerved onto the other side of the road a little and the older woman turned INTO the accident. my sisters car got it pretty bad in the front, but the older womans car was alright (it was a bigger car, my sister was in a little station wagon). The county had yet to salt the roads which prettty much led to the accident. the 90 year old woman ended up in the hospital because she hurt her knee and she had to get surgery on it, and then she stay in icu for a week. I saw the condition of my sisters car and it didn't look like the accident was bad, and my sisters car was smaller and took pretty much all of the damage. I think the old lady was only hurt because when you're that old if you trip and fall you break a hip. theyre trying to sue us for my moms house and says that the mom is too old to be in court (not too old to drive in a blizzard?). Can they really sue for the house? insurance paid her bil i have no idea who the lawyer is. We're just using the lawyer from geico. Appearently their lawyer is trying to get them to just settle because he doesn't think they have a case but the son (the mother is too old to deal with it appearently) is determined to push the issue. Everyone in my family is so freaked out (I live on my own now but I worry about my mom because it was always her dream to have a house upstate and she just bought it last year and still owes like 200k on the mortgage anyway) my sister is only 18 so she is under my mom's insurance :(

A) They can sue for all the damages that they are entitled to under the law & obtain a judgment above and beyond the limits of your insurance & when they go to enforce the judgment they can put a lien on all of your sister's assets - that's the bad news. The good news is that's not likely to happen. The person responsible is your sister & her insurance company. Don't know if she is under age & on your mom's policy - if so then your mom's assets could be in jeopardy. When you are at fault and injure someone in an accident, you take them as you find them - young and strong or old and fragile - and you are stuck with the condition that they are in. What will have to happen is that the old lady sues your sister for damages, she proves damages, and a judgment is entered against her that is in excess of your sister's insurance limits. The insurance company will have a duty to defend your sister, & that should be stated in the policy. Sounds like they are being greedy S.O.B.s trying to capitalize and scare you. They can't "sue you for your mom's house." They can only sue your sister for damages and then do what they can to collect from her assets (or your mom's assets if your sis is on your mom's insurance policy.)

What steps need to be taken after a car accident when its not your fault?

Q) I was hit by some woman while i was driving my mothers vehicle. The car is ensured but does not cover me. After the accident I got the womans insurance information. Does my mom need to call her insurance company or the person at fault?

A) Yes your mom needs to call her insurance co. Did you call the police at the scene of accident? If not the woman who hit you could contact her ins. co and give them her version of what happened. Your moms insurance company will act fast to do what is in your moms, and thier best interest.NEVER leave the scene of a car accident without calling the cops. They need to teach this in drivers training.

what do faithful christians think about people who sue others? (pedestrian who got hit by a car and sued)?

Q) i was just curious if they look down upon it or frown upon it. is it a bad thing? i got hit by a car when i was crossing the street in the crosswalk and i sued the womans insurance company. have everyday head/jaw/neck aches. i was just curious if its considered bad in the religion or what.... any info is helpful. thanks

A) It's OK if you need the money for medical bills or if you have lost your employment because of it. To sue for an excessive amount is the same as stealing though.

I received the insurance check but...?

Q) I was recently in a car accident. It was the womans fought. The insurance paid me to get my car fix.Well there's a guy that I know can do it much cheaper. Can I cash the check and let him do it and keep the rest?

A) Of course you can but you will have to get a quote from him, get and keep a receipt and if anything goes wrong with the repair, you would have to get him to put it right or sue him. On top of that, if you have another accident, the insurer may invalidate your claim or limit the claim as they could claim that a shoddy repair led to the extent of the damage. It's your choice but you would be better trying to get the repair done at a reputable garage. Play two or three garages off against one another to get the cheapest quote and then ask for a further discount for "CASH". Most garages will give a further discount for a cash transaction.

A) yes you can...........it is your money now, and if you can find someone to do the work cheaper, go for it.

I have a legal question about being run off of the road....?

Q) my wife and little boy were driving going north and an on-coming car going south ran them off of the road. there wasn't any contact between the two vehicles, but after she was run off, a couple miles down the road that car wrecked into a ditch on the northbound lane. the woman was charged with dui and wreckless driving. i have liability insurance only and tried to retain a lawyer, who stated he didn't have the time to take it to court due to running for judge. i live in kentucky. do i have a case against this woman or am i wasting my time?? the biggest issue with proving this i was told is where there was no contact. Before my wife and the officer on call knew about the wreck of this woman down the road, my son described the color and make of the car, that positively matched the womans car. Please let me know if there is anything i can do to get my car paid for??

A) Criminally, probably not. But you can sue her in Small Claims court for under $5000 or $3000 dollars of damages. Civil lawsuits have different burdens of proof and a judge will decide who gets what, if anything.

i AM TRYING TO FIND A MOVIE BUT CAN NOT REMEMBER THE TITLE OR ACTORS IN IT, ONLY WHAT IT'S ABOUT?

Q) THE MOVIE IS ABOUT A GUY WHO KILLS HIS BOSS WHO IS KIND OF OLD, STICKS THE BODY IN THE DEAD BOSSES TRUNK, AND DRIVES OFF WELL HE ENDS UP SMACKING INTO THE BACK OF A WOMANS CAR WHERE SHE INSISTS TO CALL THE POLICE HE BEGS HER NOT TO AND TRADES INSURANCE INFO AND WHEN SHE TRIES TO CONTACT HIM SHE FINDS OUT THAT THIS GUY IS DEAD BUT NOT REALLY BECAUSE HE GAVE HER DEAD BOSSES INFO WELL ANY WAYS, HE IS OUT TRYING TO KILL HER TO HIDE HIS IDENTITY, AND THAT ALL i REMEMBER DOES ANY ONE KNOW OF THIS MOVE? SORRY ABOUT THE SPELLING this is not the ice harvest movie. the guy kills his boss because he was about to be fired from some kind of firm or business

A) sounds like "The Ice Harvest" with John Cusack

My Man Sees Me As Insignificant...?

Q) I live with my man & our son. I work M-F 40 hrs/wk, have a 2yr old son, keep house, pay bills (phone, 1/3 daycare, 2/3 groceries, student loan, car loan, car insurance & buy the majority of our son's clothes), cook (he doesn't eat what I fix), do laundry & take 100% care of our son and yet he sees me as insignificant. He works 48 hrs 4 days on & 4 days off and does overtime when it comes up. He makes more $$$ than I do and he pays the 2 utility bills. I have the weekends off and have my son with me both days even if his father is home he is usually with me. I don't get anytime to myself unless I take a day off work & then it is without pay. I tell him I need help & he tells me to get a better job. I ask him to clean the bathroom 1 day a week & he says that is my job, I ask him to help out more w/OUR son & he says that is a womans work. He thinks this article is what I should be doing. http://www.askmen.com/money/mafioso_60/87b_mafia.html## What should I do?

A) Women are to be a helpmate not a doormat. That's why marriage is a partnership not a tyranny. It's also simple logic. More will be accomplished when two do the work rather than one. I don't think it's an issue of him seeing you as insignificant it's an issue of him being appreciative of you which he obviously isn't. People are busier these days and the family role models of the 1800's won't cut it in the 21st century. Civilization has adjusted but your man hasn't. You both need to seek marriage counseling and he needs to stop living out some idiotic mafia family fantasy he read in a magazine written by a guy who is most likely not even married himself. First off the article said a women should not voice her opinion. When did we get to Afghanistan? I ask my wife all the time "Where do you want to eat?", "What movie would you like to see?", "Should we buy a computer or a new washer and dryer?", etc. Marriage is compromise and hard work on the part of both parties. Also this will have an adverse effect on your son who could grow up to find women subservient and when he grows up to realize that's not the way the world works "hello wife beater". I'm a dad myself and i spend as much time with my kids as i can get so i'll have more memories of them of them young for when i'm old. He has to ask himself where are his priorities? They sure aren't with you or your child so where are they? Here's how my wife and i roll.. I do the cooking (hey i'm better at it ask my wife and my old girlfriends), laundry (better at that too), bathroom cleaning (i'm a neat freak in the bathroom) she does dog care, dishes (we trade up as i said i am a neat freak), makes the bed (i'm crap at that) and dusts and does general cleaning. I pay the rent and the power and water and cable. She's just now paid off her car so she'll be handling the car insurance now and gas and we split the cell phone bill she'll also take on putting money into the emergency fund. We also give equal time in the sack she gets her nights and i get mine and often we let improvisation reign. Marriage is a partnership of equals with equal sacrifices and equal gains.
